                  2015 Foals - Foaling Season is Complete

Here at Smilyn Acres, we have a small herd with a few foals each year.  We are very proud of our herd and have worked hard to purchase top quality jennets and herdsire.  If you see a pairing that is of particular interest to you, please let us know and we can inform you when the foal is born.   We have several jennets bred for 2016 so please check back with us in the spring.  Thank you for visiting our website.

We weren't expecting a black jennet with all the red in the pedigree but she's beautiful.  The picture doesn't do her justice.  She has very thick bone structure and is solid.  And she's perfect with her perfect bite, straight legs and gorgeous head.  She is only a few hours old in the picture. 
Fantasia is going to live with Tera and her horses near Calgary.  I know you'll adore this sweet girl.

We had been attending a driving clinic and when we arrived home, this is who we had to greet us!  What a pleasant surprise.  Fortunately everything went well.  This little foal is near perfect.  I expect she will stay small.
